About Jarod

Hi, I’m Jarod Knoten, founder of Knoten Design. My love for woodworking started when I was young, inspired by shows like The New Yankee Workshop and The Woodwright's Shop. It wasn’t until adulthood that I finally had a shop of my own, and I quickly put all those years of inspiration and remembered lessons into practice.

My appreciation for mid-century furniture, and the challenge of finding beautifully made pieces that were often hard to come by or out of reach, led me down the path of learning to build my own. Over time that passion grew into Knoten Design.

Today I work out of a small shop in Tulsa, where each piece is designed and built by hand with a focus on quality materials, thoughtful details, and lasting craftsmanship. I enjoy creating pieces that feel timeless, functional, and made to be enjoyed for years to come.
